In this series of experiments about enzymes in the production of bioethanol  students investigate the use of enzymes and microbes in the production of bioethanol fuel. Students learn about alcoholic fermentation and the importance of enzymes in this process. They investigate the process of ethanol production and measure gas production during fermentation using a homemade apparatus also described in the user guide. The kit is designed for 8 groups of up to 4 students. Detailed instructions for teachers and students (Germany only, other languages available upon request). : Consumption within 12 months is recommended for this item.
