Measurement of current with Cobra SMARTsense

Article No: P1371869

A simple circuit is examined to introduce the measurement of the strength of an electric current. It is assumed that the students understand the term current and its unit. When they know that electric current is defined as the number of freely moving electrons which pass a cross-section of a conductor in a unit of time, they will easily understand that in this case the measuring instrument must be connected in series. No additional cable connections between the building blocks needed - clear arragned and quick setup Contact saftey due to puzzle blocks system Corrosion-free gold plated contacts Doubled earning sucess: Electric circuit diagram on top, real components can be seen unterside Future-oriented teaching: Integration of sensors (Cobra SMARTsense) into digital science education How is electric current measured? Set up a simple circuit incorporating a filament lamp and familiarise yourself with the way the strength of an electric current is measured.
