Bird flight - function model

Article No: KLA-225-114

The effect of buoyancy/lift and propulsion is demonstrated with different types of profiles. While a rectangular profile does not show a tendency to lift when an air stream impacts it from the front, the wing-shaped profile ascends due to lift force. When the angle of this profile is moved downward (imitation of bird wings during flight), thrust can be demonstrated.
