Sturdy one-piece soil auger for gentle extraction of soil samples. By repeated insertion of the auger into the same borehole soil samples can be taken up to a depth of 1 metre.
This probe consists of a stainless steel rod (d = 5 mm) with pointed tip, and with an eyelet for hanging it to springbalance.
The robust metal sieves made of stainless steel are used to determine the grain size of soil. The filter fabric is strong enough even for the examination of sand and gravel soil samples.
