Hall-effect unit HU 2

Article No: 11801-01

The Hall effect unit is used for holding and supplying Hall effect carrier boards with doped and undoped germanium crystals. It enables temperature-dependent measurement of Hall voltage and conductivity.

Key Features
  • Fork-shaped metal housing with integrated 3-digit 9 mm LED display for indicating sample temperature and drive current
  • Thermal overload protection with automatic shutdown for the sample heater
  • Adjustable constant current and Hall voltage compensation
  • Selection of different maximum temperatures during the heating process
  • Simple plug-in system for inserting carrier boards (see accessories)
  • Guide groove for Hall probe
  • USB port for direct connection to a PC, no additional interface required
  • Magnetic field sensor (13610-02) can be connected directly to the Hall effect module, which transfers all measured values synchronously to the PC
  • 4 mm safety sockets for tapping Hall and sample voltage and for supplying the operating voltage
  • Control in experiments compatible with the measureLAB software
