Electron diffraction tube

Article No: 06721-02

The electron diffraction tube enables the demonstration of the wave nature of electrons by observing interference patterns that become visible on the fluorescent screen after passing through a polycrystalline graphite lattice. The electron wavelengths can be determined as a function of the anode voltage using the diffraction rings and the lattice plane spacings of graphite, thereby experimentally confirming de Broglie’s hypothesis.
